Position Overview:
We are seeking an attentive, polished, and service-driven Spa Attendant to join the opening team of a premier luxury spa in Rockwood, Tennessee. This role is essential to creating the seamless, beautifully maintained environment our guests and members experience throughout their visit.
The ideal candidate takes tremendous pride in the details and understands that true luxury often happens quietly behind the scenes. From perfectly prepared treatment spaces and beautifully presented amenities to anticipating what a guest may need before they ask, the Spa Attendant helps bring our standard of hospitality to life.
The Spa Attendant is responsible for maintaining the presentation, cleanliness, comfort, and flow of all spa guest areas while providing warm, discreet, and anticipatory service.
This is a highly hands-on hospitality position for someone who enjoys creating order, maintaining exceptional standards, and caring for others.Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and assist guests and members throughout the spa
- Maintain immaculate locker rooms, relaxation areas, lounges, treatment corridors, and other guest spaces
- Prepare and replenish towels, robes, slippers, linens, and guest amenities throughout the day
- Ensure spa spaces remain beautifully presented, organized, tranquil, and guest-ready at all times
- Escort and orient guests to spa facilities and amenities when appropriate
- Anticipate guest needs and provide discreet, attentive assistance
- Prepare and maintain water, tea, refreshments, and other spa amenities according to service standards
- Monitor and replenish toiletries and wellness amenities
- Assist treatment providers with linens, room turnover, and supplies as needed
- Collect, organize, wash, dry, fold, and distribute spa linens according to established protocols
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels of linens, amenities, and operational supplies
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Communicate maintenance, cleanliness, or safety concerns promptly to spa leadership
- Support special events, member experiences, VIP visits, and wellness programming
- Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times
- Collaborate with the Spa Coordinator, therapists, estheticians, and leadership to ensure seamless daily operations
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality, resort, private club, spa, wellness, or high-end guest service preferred
- Genuine passion for hospitality and caring for others
- Exceptional attention to detail and cleanliness
- Warm, professional, and polished demeanor
- Ability to anticipate needs while remaining discreet and unobtrusive
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative
- Comfortable performing a physically active role throughout the workday
- Ability to safely lift and carry linens, supplies, and other spa materials as required
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining exceptional standards
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including select weekends, holidays, and special events as required
You recognize when a towel needs to be replaced before a guest notices. You straighten a space because you understand how it should feel when the next guest enters. You anticipate when refreshments need replenishing and instinctively know when a guest needs assistance, and when they simply want privacy.
You understand that maintaining a luxury environment requires consistency, discretion, and pride in even the smallest task.
