We are looking for janitorial staff to join our growing team - This position will float between one of our 40 care homes in Genesee County deep-cleaning our homes and facilities.

The employee is occasionally required to stoop, and/or kneel. The employee may regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds or more. May involve travel to other locations/agencies/meetings. May require evening, weekend, and holiday hours.

- Perform deep cleaning of all areas within AFC homes, including resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and hallways
- Operate and maintain floor scrubbers, carpet extractors, and other cleaning equipment
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, strip, wax, and buff floors as required
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces and disinfect all areas to control the spread of bacteria and viruses
- Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately
- Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor promptly
- Follow all health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and company cleaning standards

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Previous custodial/janitorial experience (preferred)
