POSITION TITLE: AG/CTE Teacher
LOCATION: Flatonia Secondary
SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with FISD Teacher Pay Schedule
LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: 187 days with additional days possible
POSITION SUMMARY: Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to
help them fulfill their potential for academic success
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited College
Experience: Successful classroom teaching experience preferred, but not mandatory
Licenses/Other: Hold valid Texas Teaching Certificate
Valid Texas Career and Technical Education Certificate
ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES:
Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the Texas Essential Knowledge
and Skills
Present subject matter according to guidelines established by the Texas Education Agency
Must be familiar with classroom management techniques
Maintain all records and documentation required by TEA and local administration
Work cooperatively and constructively with other faculty, staff and administration
Perform other duties as assigned by campus administration
Knowledge of career and technical education subject assigned
Applicant must also be able to operate school vehicle and related equipment to provide safe and
orderly transportation of students and other authorized person on assigned route and to and from other
designated locations.
