Flatland Counseling & Consulting is seeking a relational, compassionate counselor to join our growing team. This position is open to both *associate-level and fully licensed clinicians* who are passionate about supporting clients in a thoughtful, collaborative therapeutic environment.
We are looking for clinicians who are excited to work with *children (10 ) as well as teens and adults*, and who value meaningful therapeutic relationships, professional growth, and being part of a supportive clinical community.
Position Overview
This role is ideal for clinicians who are building or growing their caseload and want the flexibility of hourly compensation while transitioning into a salaried position as their schedule fills.
Counselors will provide individual counseling services, collaborate with our team, and participate in the relational culture of the practice.

Responsibilities
• Provide individual counseling services to clients ages *10 and older*
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with the Flatland Counseling team and participate in occasional staff meetings
• Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with state licensing boards
• Engage in marketing or outreach activities that support caseload development when needed
Schedule Expectations
• Must be available for *at least 15 clinical hours per week*
• *Evening and/or weekend availability* is required initially to support client accessibility
• Schedule flexibility may increase as caseload becomes established
Compensation Structure
• Clinicians are compensated *per clinical hour while building their caseload*
• Once a counselor maintains *15 or more clients per week for two consecutive weeks, they become eligible to transition into a **salaried position with benefits*
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field
• Licensed in Texas as one of the following:
* LPC Associate
* LPC
* LMFT Associate
* LMFT
* LCSW
• Interest in working with *children (10 ), adolescents, and/or adults*
• Strong interpersonal and relational skills
• Commitment to ethical and high-quality clinical care
