Flatirons Bank is seeking a search for an experienced Chief Credit Officer (CCO) to lead its enterprise credit strategy. This executive will shape credit culture, oversee portfolio quality, and guide the Bank’s risk framework while partnering closely with senior leadership to support sustainable, well‑managed growth.
What You’ll Lead
- Enterprise‑wide credit strategy, culture, and risk governance
- Credit administration, underwriting, portfolio management, and loan operations
- Talent development across credit, portfolio, and loan administration teams
- Cross‑functional collaboration with lending, operations, compliance, and treasury
- Loan Committee leadership, including complex credit approvals and governance
- Regulatory engagement, exam preparation, and Board‑level reporting
What You’ll Drive
- Strong, consistent underwriting standards
- Portfolio monitoring, risk rating integrity, and emerging‑risk identification
- Problem loan management and workout strategies
- CECL methodology and ACL adequacy
- Process improvement, workflow optimization, and operational scalability
- Client‑facing support on complex credit structures and relationship development
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (advanced education preferred)
- 10 years in commercial credit, portfolio management, or credit administration
- Proven leadership of credit teams and enterprise credit functions
- Expertise in CRE, C&I, and construction lending
- Strong credit judgment, financial analysis, and structuring capability
- Deep understanding of regulatory expectations and credit risk management
- High integrity, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $165,000–$195,000
