Flatiron Group Restaurants - Flatiron Grille | Nolins Bar & Grille | Tavola Italian Kitchen - is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused waitstaff to join our lively team. As the face of our upscale casual establishments, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences, ensuring we exceed every guest's expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and engage with guests, anticipate their needs, ensure their satisfaction and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Perform opening and closing duties and maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations
- Engage with guests to foster positive experience and address any concerns promptly
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
What We're Looking for:
- Previous experience in full-service restaurant is required; fine dining or upscale dining experience is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally
- Excellent time management skills to manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Familiarity with food and beverage pairings and understanding of menu items to recommend or upsell dishes to confidently enhance the guest experience and increase revenue
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays, plates, and drinks
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Must have TABC server permit
