We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Laborer - Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting various installation projects across commercial and residential sites. Duties
- Assist with the installation of building components such as cabinetry, doors, windows, roofing, flooring, and drywall using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute installation tasks.
- Operate heavy equipment and machinery safely to support site preparation and material handling.
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure work meets safety standards and project specifications.
- Prepare surfaces through plastering, caulking, or concrete finishing to facilitate proper installation.
- Fabricate or modify materials on-site using welding, masonry, or carpentry techniques as needed.
- Support site cleanup, material delivery, and organization to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or plumbing is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Familiarity with construction management software like Bluebeam is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills in construction estimating, inspection, restoration, or hardscape work.
