Requirements:
- Garage Door & Opener: 1 year (Preferred)
- Service Titan: 1 year (Preferred)
- Must be able to attend the training in Dallas
- Strong understanding of construction principles.
- Capability for heavy lifting
- Must have prior experience with door & opener installation, ensuring all components are securely mounted.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address installation challenges effectively.
- Commercial and gate experience is a plus.
- Carpentry skills are a plus for custom installations.
- Must have a clean driving record.
Position Summary:
Flash Garage Door Service is hiring a Garage Door Sales/Service Technician offering a clear path to $130K per year through base pay, commissions, bonuses, and spiffs. This role is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining garage doors and openers, ensuring proper functionality, safety, and a high-quality customer experience.
The ideal candidate is an experienced garage door professional with hands-on knowledge of door and opener installation and repair. They are self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented, able to work independently while also contributing to a team-focused, performance-driven environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs on existing garage doors and openers.
- Ensure proper alignment and functionality of installed doors through adjustments.
- Conduct thorough inspections of installed systems to guarantee safety and performance.
- Handle heavy lifting of garage door components, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
