The Receiving / Material Handler will support daily receiving and material handling operations by processing incoming materials, verifying shipment accuracy, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring efficient material flow between departments. This role will also collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams to resolve discrepancies and support overall operational efficiency.

This role will also collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams to resolve discrepancies and support overall operational efficiency.
Here's What You'll Do
- Process daily receiving activities with accuracy and efficiency.
- Load and unload freight carriers, vendors, and customer shipments.
- Read and interpret packing slips; verify that received materials match documentation.
- Enter receiving data into the ERP system (Syteline) and maintain accurate records.
- Initiate, create, and verify material transfers within the ERP system.
- Move materials between departments to support production and operations.
- Participate in physical inventory activities, including cycle counts.
- Report discrepancies or damaged materials to Purchasing and complete non-conformance documentation.
- Maintain knowledge of material handling equipment and operate forklifts safely (certification required).
- Process receipts through systems such as Nimbello.
- Distribute receiving documentation to appropriate personnel and departments.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times.
- Promote positive working relationships and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform work according to established company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months of relevant work experience or related training preferred
- ERP system experience (Syteline or similar) preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain FLANDERS forklift certification
- Knowledge of receiving and material handling procedures
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Effective time management skills
- Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office software
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
