What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a Quality Specialist for Inspection that will be responsible for supporting Operations and Procurement to ensure the quality of vendor supplied and internally produced parts. The Quality Specialist is responsible for inspecting components and reviewing vendor supplied qualification data and maintaining all associated documentation.
What You Will Do:
· Perform inspection of material and parts- both incoming vendor and internally manufactured.
· Inspect completed assemblies and associated quality records to ensure conformance to internal and customer requirements.
· Review and disposition supplier product qualification submittals.
· Lead the Non-Conformance process, initiating and following through to resolution for both internal and vendor non-conformances.
· Work with Engineering and Operations personnel to review and disposition requests for deviations to defined specifications.
· Work closely with Operations personnel, auditing processes to ensure compliance with defined methods and standards; monitor and track process performance.
· Collaborate with other Flanders locations to ensure consistency of methods and identify best practices.
What You Need:
· Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
· Strong working knowledge of Metrology is required.
· Experience with Microsoft Office products and demonstrated usage of other software is required.
· Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies, such as 8D or A3, is preferred.
· Experience with quality systems such as ISO9001 is preferred.
· Hands-on collaborative approach with plant floor operations team
· Results oriented with a strong sense of personal responsibility
· Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with a wide range of functions
