Responsibilities
- Assist with Incident Management, Incident investigation, root cause analysis, effectively communicate findings, propose corrective actions.
- Conduct EHS audits at defined frequencies.
- Assist with workers' compensation as needed.
- Assist with contractor & consortium management, input required data at defined frequencies.
- Assist with document management and distribution as needed.
- Assist Field Service with customer requirements as needed.
- Review data to analyze trends and/or areas of improvement.
- Assist with compiling EHS KPIs and ability to attractively display data and metrics at a global, site and departmental levels.
- Assist with company EHS initiatives and communication.
- Assist with development of EHS training materials, assist with instruction if needed.
- Work with department leaders with tracking and completion of employee required training.
- Represent FLANDERS both in conduct and appearance in a courteous, professional manner.
- Must be enrolled full-time at a 4-year university/college in a relevant degree program.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, PPT, OneNote is desired.
- Basic ability on how to run analytics and identify EHS trends.
- General knowledge of OSHA, EPA and DOT standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Familiarity with document management and Gensuite systems a plus.
- Ability to work with others of diverse cultures, interpersonal styles, and abilities in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic, innovative, solution-oriented mindset, with a passion for learning.
