What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal position at Flanagan & Bodenheimer Injury and Wrongful Death Law Firm?
Overview
Our firm is offering you the job that other firms promise, but never deliver. This position will allow you to handle a MANAGEABLE caseload working with ONE ATTORNEY. You will have the opportunity to actually learn about the cases and help strategize to achieve the best result for the client. Instead of putting out fires every day, you will have the ability to be proactive and plan ahead because we intentionally keep the caseload low. This does not mean that you won't be busy. It just means that you will have the opportunity to sink your teeth into the cases rather than reacting to deadlines all the time.
This position is ONLY for paralegals with significant experience on the plaintiff or defense side in personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Please do not apply if you do not have this experience. Whoever we hire will need to be comfortable from day one responding to discovery, speaking with clients, obtaining medical records, identifying and reacting to pleadings, scheduling, and all other tasks associated with high-stakes personal injury and wrongful death litigation. If you do not have this experience, please do not apply. We will train you on our systems, but you need to have the foundational knowledge when you come through the door.
Our firm believes in excellence. We are not a template-driven firm and our results reflect that. Any potential candidates need to take pride in their own work and need to be self-motivated.
We also believe in the ability to live a life outside of work. Although we are passionate about our careers, we recognize that there is more to life than just work. We ensure that all our employees are able to live fulfilled lives with their families or hobbies.
When you apply, we will review your resume, and if you have the relevant experience, we will contact you to set up an interview. Any applicant must be fluent in Spanish in order to communicate with our spanish-speaking clients.
The office is located in downtown Hollywood.
If you are interested in applying for the job, in addition to submitting your application on Indeed please also email us at ZDB@Florida-Justice.com. In the email, please attach a copy of your resume and write three sentences on why you want to interview for this position. Applicants that fail to follow this step will not be considered.
