You will manage the flow of finished products, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory control, and storage. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing all warehouse operations, establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), supervising employees in warehouse functions, conducting quality inspections, and fostering a positive work culture to deliver an exceptional customer-first experience. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with various departments to ensure seamless operations and productivity targets are met.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement shipping and fulfillment SOPs for all channels, including e-commerce, wholesale, and special orders
- Strategically plan and manage all warehouse operations, encompassing shipping, receiving, fulfillment, and inventory management, ensuring efficiency and quality
- Negotiate and manage leases and budget for all warehousing and 3PLs
- Continually optimize warehouse layout and ensure efficient space utilization for optimal workflow
- Build and lead a dedicated team to provide best-in-class fulfillment services with a customer-first mindset
- Closely collaborate with all sales channels to ensure tight fulfillment turnaround times, partnering closely with Wholesale and Gifting channels to create efficient workflows
- Establish KPIs and hold fulfillment team accountable to meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
- Supervise safe and efficient warehousing, special packaging, and all inbound and outbound shipments
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure accurate product receipt and inventory management
- Manage all warehouse operations budget, including logistics costs, staffing, shipping materials, and external partnerships
- Establish competitive pricing and sustainable workflows for the driver fleet and fulfillment processes
- Create packout specifications that reflect the highest brand standards, incorporating personalized touches for customers
- Oversee logistics for local, same-day, and weekly deliveries of perishable goods, ensuring product safety and an excellent customer experience
- Oversee logistics for global supply chain, partnering with procurement to ensure best pricing for any inbound and outbound movement of components, raw materials, and finished goods
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for warehouse operations to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement
- Forecast and plan for seasonal staffing and space needs to accommodate spikes in fulfillment demands
- Ensure proper handling and reconciliation of all inventory throughout the month-end closing process
- Direct inbound and outbound logistics operations, emphasizing safety, quality management, and efficiency
- Continuously assess and implement improvements in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management tools, shipping systems, ERP systems, and other technologies
- Oversee EDI integrations with retailers while ensuring a comprehensive understanding of all related processes
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations through regular safety training and adherence to safety protocols
- Stay updated on the latest fulfillment optimization tools and best practices.
- Mentor and train warehouse staff, driving performance and problem-solving initiatives
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding warehousing and shipping
- Protect and optimize the company’s physical assets, including building, equipment, and inventory
- Ensure all facilities are up to code with proper procedures in place.
- Evaluate, recommend, and oversee potential new office, manufacturing, or fulfillment facilities, including 3PL considerations
- Manage repairs and maintenance of existing and new facilities
- Negotiate contracts with small parcel and freight carriers/forwarders to secure favorable terms and pricing
- Anticipate and plan ahead for high touch support across all areas of the business from retail pop-ups, to photoshoots, events, and special projects

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of experience in fulfillment and logistics, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Experience working with or training third-party logistics partners
- Proficient in ERP systems, EDI, e-commerce platforms, and inventory management systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership abilities, with a talent for cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Capable of lifting and moving heavy items, typically up to 50 lbs.
