Agricultural Equipment Operator

Flaming & Son, LTD
Paxton, NE Temporary
POSTED ON 6/13/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 12/15/2026
We are a 4,000 plus acre irrigated grain farm with all center pivot irrigation. There are some dryland crops, as well. We raise corn and soybeans on the pivots. On the dryland we raise some wheat and rye. We have transitioned into a mainly no-till program with utilizing cover crop cereal rye behind the soybeans. We store all of our crops on-farm with a recently built grain handling facility. Our busier season begins in March with servicing pivots. We continue on with fixing dirt work and wheel track issues for the upcoming irrigation season. We like to begin planting by mid April, weather permitting. Throughout the growing season we inject fertilizer, so we haul fertilizer to the pivots throughout the irrigation season. As the summer progresses, we continue to ship out grain which includes scooping out bins also. The majority of the summer is spent working on pivots and checking them. We conclude irrigating in mid to late September typically. Harvest continues through mid November. After the soybeans are harvested we plant rye for cover crop and fix pivot tracks before starting the corn harvest. From the conclusion of harvest throughout the winter we service and repair equipment and ship out grain as well as general farm duties. Employees will check pivots/wells, haul grain, load trucks, and operate tractors, skid steer, and farm equipment. Employees will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Returning workers will receive $1/hr increase.
