Flameco Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead and continuously improve all aspects of manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for an engineer who combines deep technical expertise with strategic systems thinking—someone passionate about architecting, implementing, and managing manufacturing and quality systems that scale with growth.


You will be responsible for overseeing all manufacturing operations, machine capabilities, and processes, while also driving the implementation of quality and certification systems (ASME, API, ISO). As a key technical leader, you will manage complex manufacture-to-order (MTO) and engineer-to-order (ETO) projects, ensuring excellence from concept through final assembly.

Responsibilities:

Operations Leadership:

  • Oversee and optimize manufacturing processes across fabrication, welding, finishing, assembly, and quality operations.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of people, machines, and materials to achieve production targets and maintain quality standards.
  • Drive process capability improvements across manufacturing and production workflows.
  • Architect and manage robust manufacturing and quality systems that ensure consistency, scalability, and compliance.

Systems Architecture & Quality Roadmapping:

  • Develop and execute roadmaps for quality system implementation and certification, including ASME Section V, VIII, and IX, API, and ISO standards.
  • Collaborate with design and quality teams to develop inspection plans, test procedures, and documentation systems.
  • Architect and manage robust manufacturing and quality systems that ensure consistency, scalability, and compliance.
  • Conduct root-cause analyses, lead corrective actions, and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Spearhead process documentation, workflow design, and system integrations that enhance efficiency and traceability.

Project Management:

  • Lead cross-functional teams through complex MTO and ETO projects, ensuring timelines, pricing, budgets, and quality targets are met.
  • Translate customer and engineering requirements into actionable manufacturing plans.
  • Manage risk proactively and maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical & Data Proficiency:

  • Utilize ERP systems to manage work orders, material traceability, costing, and production schedules.
  • Build and maintain data-driven reports and dashboards that track performance metrics, quality outcomes, and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with business systems teams to enhance ERP functionality and ensure data accuracy across departments.


Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in metal fabrication or custom equipment manufacturing.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ASME Sections VI, VIII, and IX, API, and ISO standards.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Epicor, SAP, etc.) and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL, or equivalent).
  • Experience developing data-driven reports and KPIs to support decision-making.
  • Hands-on expertise with manufacturing operations focused on transforming Aluminum, Carbon Steel, and Stainless Steel raw materials into final products.
  • Proven track record managing MTO and ETO projects from design through delivery.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Preferred:

  • Experience designing and implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Familiarity with automation, CNC, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Performance Bonus: Eligible for up to 5% of the base salary, contingent upon meeting specific performance and company growth targets.
  • 401(k) Match: The company will match up to 4% of your contributions to the company 401(k) plan.
  • Benefits: The company will cover 100% of health, dental, and vision insurance premiums for you and your family.
  • Vacation and PTO: You are entitled to 3 weeks of paid time-off per year, along with paid company holidays.

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
