Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Flame Metals, a commercial heat treater in Rogers, MN, has an immediate opening for a FT 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanic.
The position performs mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on all pieces of industrial equipment in the heat treating shop to ensure a smooth work flow. They also assist with installation on new equipment as well as building maintenance.
Schedule would be Monday - Friday, 2pm to 10:30pm. This position may require the flexibility of working an occasional Saturday as needed.

JOB DUTIES
- Receive maintenance orders and performs maintenance on items as needed.
- Completes applicable paperwork for repair items.
- Communicates with maintenance vendors as needed.
- Completes requests for tools and materials needed.
- Communicates with shop employees and management on status of equipment.
- Works with outside vendors to achieve repairs or revisions to equipment.
- Completes preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Installs new equipment.
- Follows appropriate safety related procedures during repairs
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
- Mechanical experience/knowledge
- Electrical experience/knowledge
- Pneumatic & hydraulic system knowledge
- Problem solving
- Follows appropriate safety related procedures during repairs
- Ability to stand in place, crawl, stoop and lift on a daily basis
- Ability to read blueprints
- Fabricating and welding skills a plus
