Flame Broiler is a Korean-inspired, healthy, fast-casual restaurant focused on fresh ingredients, simple cooking, and consistent quality. Our Cerritos, CA location is hiring a Full-Time/ Part-Time Cook / Kitchen Team Member to join our fast-paced and team-oriented kitchen.
This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a quick-service restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items including chicken, beef, and tofu
- Follow Flame Broiler recipes, portioning, and food quality standards
- Operate grills and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times
- Sweep, mop, and assist with general cleaning duties
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health code guidelines
- Work efficiently as part of a team during busy periods
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Prior restaurant, cook, or kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn and follow company procedures consistently
