Essential Duties
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers, ensuring high satisfaction and proactive communication.
- Enter and review new orders, including spot buys, blanket purchase orders, and EDI transmissions.
- Complete contract reviews and manage revisions or changes to existing orders.
- Monitor open orders to ensure timely delivery and communicate updates to customers and production.
- Respond promptly to customer and internal emails (within 4 hours for customers, 24 hours internally).
- Perform ERP-related tasks in line with established procedures (Delmia Works/IQMs experience a plus).
- Assist in resolving customer issues related to pricing, scheduling, shipping, or invoicing.
- Manage customer scorecards and escalate concerns to appropriate department heads.
- Support Sales Account Managers on customer-related topics.
Education/Certification Requirements:
- College degree in Business or related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum two years of customer service experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- Proficient in using Order Entry and related modules in an ERP system (Delmia Works/IQMs preferred).
- Microsoft Office (basic to intermediate Excel skill level is required).
- Excellent customer relations skills.
- Clear and concise communicator.
- Intuitive thinker (see ahead and understand the impact of actions and decisions).
