Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape installation projects including planting, mulching, and soil preparation using hand tools and power tools
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
- Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, hedge trimming, and shrub care
- Operate equipment like lawn equipment, snow plows, and other construction machinery safely and efficiently
- Conduct general maintenance of landscaping tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Help with hardscape projects including the installation of pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other structures
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing in winter months or gardening in spring and summer
Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Knowledge of horticulture principles, plant care, and landscape maintenance techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and maintenance will help you succeed in this role
