Overview
We are a small business seeking a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the company's financial records, including maintaining financial reports, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial transactions
- Perform full-cycle accounting duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Handle journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- Reconciling cash, bank accounts and revenues
- Maintaining an accurate general ledger, making adjustments as needed
- Creating journal entries for all accounts, including fixed assets
- Issuing invoices to and collecting payments from customers
- Preparing tax returns and monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Remitting payroll, income, sales and use taxes
- Processing employees' timesheets and managing payroll
- Collecting information for auditing purposes
- Manage simple HR duties
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
- Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with payroll processing and general ledger accounting
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
