We’re Growing — and Adding Another Accountant to Our Team

Flaherty’s Financial Services, LLC is growing quickly, and we are excited to add another experienced accounting professional to our accounting team.

This is a newly added position created to support our continued growth, expanding client relationships, and established book of business.

You won’t be starting from scratch.

You’ll step into a firm with established clients, a strong and growing book of business, experienced team members, and a beautiful professional office in Scarborough.

We are looking for an accomplished mid-level or senior accountant who is ready for greater autonomy, meaningful client relationships, and a clear opportunity for career advancement.

This position is designed for an accounting professional who can independently manage a portfolio of business and nonprofit clients while serving as a trusted financial advisor. You will work directly with business owners, nonprofit leaders, and firm leadership—providing financial insight, strengthening accounting processes, and helping clients make informed business decisions.

This is not a traditional bookkeeping role.

You will take ownership of client engagements, review financial activity, identify issues and opportunities, guide clients through accounting and compliance matters, and contribute to the continued growth of our firm.

At Flaherty’s, experienced professionals are trusted to manage their work, develop strong client relationships, contribute ideas, and help shape the future of the firm. As your portfolio, leadership responsibilities, and contributions grow, so will your opportunities for increased compensation, professional development, and advancement.

Why Experienced Professionals Choose Flaherty’s

Experienced accounting professionals have choices. We have created a workplace that values professional expertise, flexibility, collaboration, work-life balance, and career growth.

We recognize and reward initiative, professional judgment, leadership, client retention, and outstanding service—not simply years of service.

  • Participating in firm planning and operational decisions
  • Developing specialized expertise in nonprofit accounting, business advisory, tax, or compliance
  • Taking on expanded management and leadership responsibilities
  • Advancing into senior management or firm leadership

We believe outstanding performance should be recognized and rewarded. Compensation growth and advancement are based on your contributions, leadership, client service, and ability to take on increased responsibility.

  • Quarterly and performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Retirement plan with 3% employer match
