Internship Overview
The Recruiting Intern will gain hands-on experience in the full lifecycle of human resources within a fast-paced, multi-site retail environment. You will bridge the gap between corporate strategy and site-level execution, ensuring our washes are fully staffed with top-tier talent and our administrative systems run with precision.
Key Learning Objectives & Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Branding
- Full-Cycle Support:
- Review resumes to match qualified candidates with open job requirements
- Learn to manage candidate sourcing, screening and making contact for open positions
- Assist in coordinating and scheduling interviews both virtually and in person
- Document recruiting activities in Talent Management System
- Assist in onboarding new hires
- Maintain professionalism and ensure positive candidate experience
- Community Engagement: Represent Flagstop at local career fairs and community events to build brand awareness and a talent pipeline
HR Systems
- System Administration: Learn the backend of HRIS system including Talent Acquisition process, creating reports, and automating tasks for efficiency
Qualifications:
Requirements
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills (essential for guest experience and interviewing).
- Tech-Savvy: Ability to quickly learn software platforms quickly including Google Workspace
- Organization: High attention to detail and capable of managing multiples tasks
