Internship Overview
The Strategic Brand & Partnership Intern will serve as a key ambassador for the Flagstop brand. This role is unique because it sits at the intersection of Executive Leadership, Event Management, and Technical Operations. You will help manage our high-profile partnerships (media and athletics) while ensuring our physical and digital brand presence is flawless across all 30 locations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partnership & Media Relations
- Brand Ambassador: Assist in representing Flagstop at media appearances, athletic partnership events and vendor summits.
- Team Engagement: Coordinate "Event Inclusion" programs, managing ticket distribution and logistics so our team members can enjoy our local partnerships.
2. Event Coordination & Guest Experience
- Grand Openings: Take an active role in planning and executing Grand Opening events and on-site promotions for new Flagstop locations.
- Personalized Solutions: Learn to handle complex guest inquiries by developing personalized solutions that align with Flagstop’s "Guest First" philosophy.
3. Technical Brand Management
- Point of Sale (POS) Optimization: Work directly with vendor to resolve site-level issues, implement system updates, and create new portal profiles for expanding sites.
- Signage Logistics: Use MaintainX to track, manage, and resolve signage projects, ensuring every site meets our high brand standards.
4. Creative Strategy & Digital Growth
- App Engagement: Contribute to the creative direction for app download strategies, using engagement data to suggest improvements.
- Brand Consistency: Conduct "Brand Audits" across signage, digital campaigns, and site materials to ensure a unified look and feel.
