Technology Product Manager

Technology Product Manager New York, NY 10018 The Technology Product Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the technology product strategy and roadmap to drive business success at all levels. We are looking for a business-driven product-led thought leader who seeks to understand process and can connect with our business partners to leverage technology and drive tangible business impact. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute a technology product roadmap aligned with the company’s objectives, leading the technology product projects from end-to-end, and providing thoughts leadership regarding emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in technology analytics and development.

• Lead or be the key enabler of the end-to-end technology product development, including understanding what the business needs, putting together development cycles starting from a minimum viable product to complete solutions, monitor and analyze user feedback, data usage patterns, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize the performance of technology products.
• Foster strategic partnership with business units; turn business vision and priorities into data product roadmap to execute upon; translate business needs and wants into actionable product requirements.
• Partner with other technology and business leaders to optimize technology with On Premises and Cloud platforms leveraging data from multiple sources for strategic business needs, identifying the need for technology repositories, such as relational and non-relational databases for functional stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for innovation in the technology product space.

• Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
• Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

• Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent
• 10 years of experience in Banking or financial services industry
• Minimum experience required: 7 Years of experience in supporting analytics, information science, software development, transformation or any other relevant quantitative field.
• 1 years of coaching and/or mentoring professionals
• Working knowledge with some or all of the following: SQL, SAS, Python, Machine Learning, Snowflake, Data Engineering, Data visualization tools, Databases, Data warehouses and Data Lakes or Lakehouses.
• Past experience of Product development, ownership or management

• Education level preferred: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) with a focus on mathematics, computer science, engineering or business analytics etc.
• Product development experience or Product Management certifications
• Previous experience as Technical Product Manager using Snowflake or other equivalent platforms

• Project management skills in supporting data analytics solutions
• Proven experience of directing an analytics initiative from ideation through production and adoption and understand the life cycle of an analytics initiative and the common pitfalls
• Have an entrepreneurial spirit focused on impact, balancing effort to value, and getting things done
• Have a deep understanding of banking processes, regulations, and data privacy Demonstrate a high-level mastery of features and systems in data technology stack and be able to explain their capabilities and limitations to non-technical stakeholders.
