Overview
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Pawn Broker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and purchasing items from customers, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining an organized inventory. As a Pawn Broker, you will play a crucial role in helping customers find value in their possessions while ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assess the value of items brought in by customers for pawn or sale, utilizing retail math skills to determine fair offers.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about the features and benefits of items available for sale.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and operating the cash register.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring that stock is displayed effectively and is easily accessible to customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and building rapport with clients.
- Stay informed about market trends and pricing for various products to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to pawning and selling items, including record-keeping and reporting obligations.
Experience
- Strong basic math skills are essential for evaluating item values and processing transactions.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as communication with diverse clientele is beneficial.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
