We're looking for a detail-oriented, personable, and proactive Showroom Assistant— someone who finds the intersection of design, home, and craft genuinely interesting, and who wants to build real skills and grow with a team that will invest in them.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Interaction & Product Knowledge:
- Greet clients, solicit and understand their needs and wants, and guide them to appropriate selections
- Build and maintain knowledge of our products and how we apply them
Appointments & Requests Management:
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar to keep the team running efficiently
- Receive service and repair work, communicating clearly about services we do and do not offer
Mail & Deliveries:
- Receive and verify incoming freight and product orders
- Move product to storage; must be able to lift 20 lbs
Showroom Maintenance:
- Keep the showroom clean, organized, and presentation-ready (vacuuming, dusting, displays)
Project Coordination
- Keep our CRM and project board updated with accurate notes on clients and jobs
- Communicate with our designer, installer, and repairman to keep projects moving
Product Status & Payments
- Check and relay order status to clients and the team
- Process payments at point of sale (cash, check, card)
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to juggle a variety of tasks without dropping the details
- Comfortable with basic office tools (email, CRM) and motivated to learn new software
- Proactive, dependable, and punctual — someone who takes ownership without being asked
- An eye for design, interiors, or home aesthetics is a genuine plus
- Experience in retail, showroom, interior design, or a related field is helpful but not required
