Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Facilities Manager role based in Flagstaff, AZ. The Facilities Manager oversees the daily operation, maintenance, and safety of both club locations, ensuring that workout equipment, sports facilities, and common areas are clean, functional, and well-presented. Responsibilities include coordinating repair and maintenance schedules, supervising janitorial and maintenance staff, managing vendor relationships, and monitoring building systems such as HVAC, lighting, and plumbing. The role also involves implementing safety and compliance procedures, managing facility-related budgets, responding promptly to member and staff concerns, and supporting special events or programs with appropriate space setup. The Facilities Manager collaborates closely with club leadership to maintain high standards of appearance, reliability, and member experience.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in facilities management, building operations, or maintenance supervision in a multi-site or hospitality/fitness environment.
- Strong skills in coordinating repairs, preventive maintenance, and vendor services, with the ability to prioritize multiple facility needs.
- Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, safety systems) and basic understanding of relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in organizing schedules, managing budgets, tracking work orders, and using basic computer applications for reporting and communication.
- Effective leadership and people management skills, including training, scheduling, and supporting maintenance and cleaning staff.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on customer service and timely resolution of facility issues.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with facility inspections and minor repairs, and to work on-site across both club locations as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications or coursework in facilities management, building maintenance, or related fields are a plus.
