Now Hiring: Skilled Fabricators & Build Technicians (2 Positions)
Flagstaff Airstream Renovations, Flagstaff, Arizona
Build things that go the distance.
Flagstaff Airstream Renovations is looking for two skilled fabricators to join our restoration and custom build team. If you take pride in precision work and want to put your hands on builds that are as technically capable as they are beautiful, we want to hear from you.
About the Work
Our shop handles structural restorations and ground-up custom builds across Airstreams, RV platforms, and specialty trailers, from polished vintage shells to fully off-grid expedition rigs. You'll also contribute to select upfit projects built in collaboration with our partner, Recon Rig, which develops advanced mobile systems for remote operations and high-capability field environments.
These aren't assembly-line builds. Every project is a problem to solve, a platform to get right, and something you'll be proud to put your name on.
What You'll Work On
- Structural restoration of Airstream and RV platforms, including frame repair and subfloor replacement
- Exterior aluminum polishing and refinishing of classic Airstream shells
- Custom cabinetry, interiors, and finish integration
- Electrical systems, including solar arrays, battery banks, and inverter platforms
- Plumbing and HVAC integration
- Off-road upgrades including suspension, chassis reinforcement, and protection systems
- Off-grid system installation for autonomous mobile platforms
- Specialty trailer upfits supporting Recon Rig builds
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience in fabrication, RV systems, construction trades, welding, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical installation
- High standards for workmanship and a sharp eye for detail
- Reliability and consistency in a production environment
- Comfort working independently and collaborating within a small, tight-knit team
- A problem-solver's mindset, since custom builds rarely go exactly to plan
Bonus points for experience with: aluminum shell work, solar integration, trailer chassis modification, or off-grid power systems.
Position Details
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (one-hour lunch)
- Competitive wages based on experience
- Based in Flagstaff, AZ
