Production Machine Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Production Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for running machinery that produces a quality product in a timely manner. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. If you are passionate about manufacturing, we want to hear from you.

We are looking to fill positions on the following shifts:

• Full time days (Monday-Thursday 6:30 am - 5:00 pm)
• Full time nights (Monday-Thursday 8:30 pm - 7:00 am)
• Part time afternoons/evenings (4:30 pm- 9:00 pm)

Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery used in the production of flags.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to keep it in optimal working condition and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical issues that may arise during production.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
• Inspect finished products for defects and inconsistencies, making adjustments as needed, to maintain quality.
• Ensures quality production and maximum throughput are obtained.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, materials used, and any issues encountered.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors when additional materials are needed.
• Take ownership and responsibility of flag making machine area keeping it clean, organized, and safe.
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives.
• Initiates and supports improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also being self-motivated.
• Previous experience maintaining equipment on a regular basis.
• Previous experience with LEAN initiatives is preferred but not required.
