Pay: $19.00–$25.00/hr

The Role

We’re looking for an organized, outgoing person to help grow advertising sales across all four magazines.

You’ll connect with business owners and marketing teams, introduce advertising opportunities, follow up on proposals and close sales. You’ll also help organize prospect lists, outreach campaigns and account records so opportunities keep moving.

This is a hybrid role. You’ll spend part of your time working in person with the publisher in Provo and part working independently. It’s an opportunity to develop practical sales experience with direct guidance and room to take initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact prospective advertisers by phone and email.
• Learn each client’s goals and recommend print and digital advertising.
• Prepare proposals, follow up and close advertising agreements.
• Stay in touch with existing advertisers and help renew their accounts.
• Organize prospect lists and assist with targeted outreach campaigns.
• Keep account notes and next steps current in our CRM.
• Coordinate advertising materials and deadlines with our creative team.

Qualifications

• Clear, friendly communication and confidence starting conversations.
• Good organization and reliable follow-through.
• Comfort learning software and working with spreadsheets.
• Initiative and the ability to stay productive independently.
• Availability to work in person with the publisher in Provo as part of a hybrid schedule.

Sales, customer service or marketing experience is helpful. Students and recent graduates are welcome to apply.
