The Associate Director, P&PI Operations, will play a central role in supporting the operations and governance of P&PI and the Product and Partnering Review Committee (PPRC). Reporting to the Director, P&PI Operations, this individual will ensure seamless coordination, documentation, and process improvement across portfolio governance activities. The role requires a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized professional who can manage complex cross-functional processes and drive accountability across teams.

The salary range for this role is $128,000 - $203,000. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. Compensation and benefits information is based on Flagship Pioneering's good faith estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engages in a process with leadership of prioritizing the most compelling concepts that could become ProtoCos, Flagship’s first stage of development
- Build strong relationship across Flagship and the dozens of Flagship platform companies as part of understanding the capabilities of each platform, present and planned.
- Balances unconstrained, highly creative thinking with an Exploration Method that has been designed to create product concepts with transformational clinical outcomes at the end of an Exploration process that runs several months
- Establishes a close partnering relationship with each team member. Contributes to a high-energy team spirit and high functioning team and leads in a way that is consistent with Pioneering Medicines’ values
- 8 years of experience in operations, portfolio management, or program governance within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or a related R&D environment.
- Proven ability to manage complex calendars, governance workflows, and cross-functional communications.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to synthesize discussions into actionable summaries.
- Proficiency with collaboration and tracking tools (e.g., SharePoint, Smartsheet, Notion, Microsoft Office, AI-based productivity tools).
- Demonstrated ability to partner across scientific, operational, and leadership teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Proven ability to build and sustain strong working relationships across diverse stakeholder groups, fostering collaboration, trust, and alignment.
