Service Manager/Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager/technician to lead our lawn and garden equipment service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in service management, with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and leadership skills to ensure the highest quality of service is delivered to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
• Manage and train service technicians, providing guidance on diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures.
• Develop and implement strategies for upselling services and products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring all issues are resolved promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, including estimating and service writing documentation.
• Collaborate with sales teams to promote services and ensure alignment with dealership goals.
• Monitor inventory levels for parts and supplies needed for maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the service department.
