Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM
Hours: 36 hours worked, paid for 40
Shift Differential: $2.00/hour weekend day shift differential
Pay Range: $24.75–$34.00/hour, depending on experience

Position Summary
A confidential aerospace manufacturing company in Tukwila, WA is seeking a Multi-Spindle CNC Machinist to support weekend day shift operations. This role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC Index multi-spindle machines, CNC lathes, machining centers, Mori Cell, Okuma, Hone machines, or similar equipment in a medium-to-high volume aerospace production environment.
The ideal candidate will have CNC lathe, multi-spindle, Index, screw machine, or high-volume machining experience. Candidates should be able to read CNC programs, understand basic M and G codes, use precision measuring tools, and maintain safe and efficient machine operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Index multi-spindle machines, CNC lathes, Mori Cell, Okuma, Hone machines, or related machining equipment.
- Cut, shape, and form metal workpieces to specification.
- Support medium-to-high volume production runs.
- Monitor machine operation and cutting conditions during production.
- Remove metal chips from tools, machines, and equipment and dispose of them properly.
- Monitor machine condition and report unusual noises, machine issues, or production concerns to the supervisor or shift lead.
- Monitor tooling condition and alert the supervisor or lead if tools are not cutting properly.
- Read machining CNC programs and understand basic M and G codes.
- Use tabletop gauges and precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, Sunnen gauges, and bore micrometers.
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedures.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas according to 6S standards.
- Wipe machine surfaces, lubricate equipment, sweep, mop, and complete housekeeping tasks as required.
- Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, quality standards, and production procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience setting up and operating CNC lathes or similar machining equipment.
- Experience with lot quantities exceeding 100 units preferred.
- Ability to read machining CNC programs.
- Basic understanding of M and G codes.
- Ability to use basic tabletop gauges and measuring tools.
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers, Sunnen gauges, and bore micrometers.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work safely in a machining environment.
- Ability to work Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM.
