What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Coordinator position at Fladger Associates?
Responsibilities:
- Excellent employment opportunity for a Specialist, Global Innovations Site Operations in the Athens, GA area.
- Athens on-site daily, No remote work possible, First shift: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, 40 hours/week
- Support the Laboratory Operations Manager with regards to purchasing and systems management to ensure operational excellence in the laboratories consistent with local standard operation procedures.
- Ensure high standards of operational support of activities across the Athens R&D site in line with best practices and governance.
- Support such that R&D laboratories function efficiently and in full compliance with local and corporate regulations.
- At this point, no possibility to be converted to FTE
Experience:
- College Degree preferred.
- Experience in purchasing systems or budget management preferred.
- Experience in a laboratory or production area preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities in a passionate, positive and professional manner.
- Customer service focused with strong inter-personal skills.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
- Influence without authority.
- Ability to partner simultaneously with internal business colleagues and external consultants/experts as needed.
- Outstanding flexibility, adaptability and sense of accountability.
- Ability to represent team in a professional manner with stakeholders.
