Job Description – Production Worker:
Client is hiring Production Workers for a manufacturing facility in Vandergrift, PA. This is a hands-on role supporting glass production, assembly, inspection, and material handling operations in a team-based manufacturing environment.
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday
- 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 100% onsite
Responsibilities:
- Operate and support automated glass cutting equipment
- Separate and move glass sheets safely
- Load and stage materials for production
- Inspect glass products for defects and quality issues
- Assist with packaging and crate building for shipping
- Use lift assist tools and suction equipment to move glass
- Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards
- Work with supervisors and engineering teams to resolve production issues
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2–3 years of manufacturing, production, warehouse, assembly, or industrial experience
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs when required
- Basic hand tool knowledge preferred
PPE Requirement:
- Steel-toed shoes required
- Additional PPE provided by client
Preferred:
- Associate degree in Technology or related field is a plus
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
