What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interior Design Sales Associate position at FL Davis Ace?
This position will support three primary store priorities: Customers First, In Stock, and Store Appearance. Support Customers First by providing fast, thorough, and friendly service to customers. Interact with customers by welcoming them to the store providing showroom tours, meeting with them to go over room designs and make purchasing recommendations. Support In Stock initiatives by assessing stock levels of samples and brochures and restocking them as necessary. Support the Store Appearance priority by ensuring special order displays and showrooms promote a shopping environment that is appealing and safe. By supporting these three priorities, will drive sales to support department and store goals. This position will also be responsible for the Furniture, Clothing and Boutique appearance. Keeping displays fresh and appealing to our Customers.

Job responsibilities/tasks, what we're looking for include:
* Assisting customers with selections
* Maintaining visual and organizational aspects of the business at all times
* Manage merchandise presentation on the sales floor
* Managing Customer Relationships
* Regular/Daily Calls to Potential Contractors, Installers, Architects, Designers, etc.
* Follow up with Clients, Contractors, Installers, Architects, Designers
* Follow all store policies and procedures
* Develop and maintain lasting customer relationships
What we're looking for in a candidate include:
* Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
* Basic computer skills to operate a computer and email for business use only
* A reliable individual with a positive work attitude and a drive to continuously learn about the business, merchandise and new products
* Prior experience in "Sales", Retail, home improvement, clothing, hospitality, or knowledge of, is a plus but not a requirement
* WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT INDIVIDUALS
* Inspect shipments & report shortages or damages
* Maintain an accurate record of inventory
* Manage the storage of merchandise
* Be able to lift 50lbs or more
* Complete sales transactions with customers
* Dependable and committed to teamwork
