Casting Operator – Poly Machine
Location: Frankfort, IL
Schedule: Full Time | Day Shift (Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM)
Pay: $25–$28/hour (based on experience)

FKM USA is a leading manufacturer of high-performance industrial coatings, known for precision, innovation, and advanced manufacturing technology. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casting Operator to take ownership of a highly automated casting line.
Position Summary
As a Casting Operator, you will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining a computer-controlled casting machine equipped with robotic positioning systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation
- Operate and monitor a complex, automated casting system
- Ensure efficient and accurate production using computerized controls and robotics
Setup & Changeover
- Set up equipment for new production runs
- Change tooling and components as needed
- Adjust process parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, cycle times) to meet specifications
Quality Assurance
- Perform test casts and verify product quality
- Monitor ongoing production to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
- Use measuring tools to confirm dimensional accuracy
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Identify and resolve minor equipment issues independently
- Support preventative maintenance and cleaning of machinery and control systems
Qualifications
Required
- Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to meet production demands
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
Preferred
- Experience operating automated or computer-controlled manufacturing equipment
- Background in plastics processing, casting, or similar technical field
- Familiarity with industrial control systems
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Use of micrometers and precision measuring tools
- Experience with lathes or production equipment
- Overhead crane operation
