Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a welcoming atmosphere throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring clear communication of menu items and specials
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards and food safety protocols
- Upsell menu items and drink options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage guest requests efficiently, addressing concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all sales
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen operations as needed to ensure smooth service flow
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Experience in food preparation, food safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Knowledge of food industry terminology and serving techniques including basic math for bill calculations
- Previous host/hostess experience or serving roles that demonstrate excellent guest interaction skills
