Fixed Appliance Repair is hiring experienced appliance repair technicians for a full-time subcontractor (1099) role.
We provide the work. We keep you booked with service calls and handle scheduling/dispatch.
You provide the skill. You diagnose, repair, communicate professionally, and stand behind your workmanship.

Compensation
Profit Share / Commission-Only (No hourly wage, no salary, no base pay).

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair major household appliances in customers’ homes
(refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens/ranges, microwaves — based on your skill set)
- Provide a friendly, professional customer experience
- Explain diagnosis and repair options clearly and honestly
- Complete repairs safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Manage your day like a pro: arrive on time, complete jobs, and communicate updates
Requirements (must have)
- Proven appliance repair experience (experienced technicians only)
- Ability to work fully independently (diagnosis → repair → customer communication)
- Own vehicle (reliable for daily routes)
- Own tools (professional basic set required)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong English communication skills (verbal/written)
- Ability to pass background/drug screen if required
Preferred (nice to have)
- EPA Type I or Universal (especially if you do refrigeration/sealed system)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with schematics and meters
- Service sales mindset (ethical recommendations, no pressure)
