What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Assistant position at Fixing the Boro?
Hours are Sunday-Wednesday 730-530PM
```Duties```
- Handle and restrain animals during examinations and treatments.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Clean and maintain, kennels, and surgical areas
- Provide post-operative care and monitor animals during recovery
- Clinic operations are Sunday-Wednesday and Sundays will be required.
- Daily animal care.
-Must be able to lift 50 pounds
```Experience```
- Previous experience as a kennel tech or in a related field preferred
- Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills to interact with veterinarians, colleagues, and pet owners
