As a Flat Glass Technician, you will
- Carry out residential glass installation and repair, including insulated glass replacement, single pane glass, patio doors, mirrors, shower doors, vinyl & wood replacement windows, skylights, table-tops, railings & screens
- Install and repair commercial glass including: glass entry doors, storefront metal/glass, door closers, swings, sweeps, and thresholds
- Ensure equipment, materials and areas of operation comply with all regulations and requirements
- Provide exceptional customer service to every guest, every time
- Perform all other duties as assigned including but not limited to:
- Own flat glass projects end‑to‑end, from site measure through installation and final transaction.
- Produce accurate estimates and profitable quotes, identifying upsell opportunities and maintaining margin integrity.
- Serve as the primary customer contact, setting expectations, providing updates, and resolving issues professionally.
- Plan and schedule installations, coordinating labor, materials, and site readiness to ensure efficient execution.
- Manage materials and vendors, including ordering glass/hardware, approving fabrication details, and tracking deliveries.
- Support field teams, communicating job requirements, safety needs, and performing job check‑ins to ensure quality.
- Maintain complete project documentation, including quotes, measurements, change orders, and status updates.
- Ensure safety and compliance, promoting OSHA‑aligned practices and leading site hazard awareness.
- State issued Driver’s license and clean driving record
- Physical Requirements: lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds, standing, bending, long periods of time on your feet
