Duties
- Greet customers warmly in both English and Spanish, providing knowledgeable assistance on products and services
- Drive retail sales by actively engaging customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable solutions
- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers, handling cash drawer management and cash handling procedures
- Assist customers with retail lending options, including loan processing and collections when necessary
- Maintain precise data entry records for sales, customer information, and financial transactions using retail software systems
- Support banking functions such as deposit processing, cash management, and cashiering responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
Requirements
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential to serve our diverse customer base effectively
- Prior experience in retail sales or retail store environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of banking or financial services including loan processing, collections, and cash handling is a plus
- Strong math skills with the ability to perform retail math calculations accurately
- Experience with data entry, cash drawer handling, 10-key typing, and processing cash transactions confidently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and active listening abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours as needed to meet store demands
