Your Mission
Own the programming that powers high‑precision parts in Hartford, CT. If building efficient, reliable Mastercam toolpaths for multi‑axis lathes is your craft, you’ll thrive here—supporting Defense, Firearms, and Medical customers with zero‑compromise quality.
What You’ll Tackle- Create, refine, and standardize CNC programs in Mastercam for 2–3 axis lathes and 3–5 axis equipment.
- Set up and occasionally operate CNC lathes to validate and prove out programs.
- Collaborate with engineering and production to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and throughput.
- Execute in‑process inspections and quality checks to blueprint and spec.
- Diagnose and resolve machining and code issues quickly.
- Maintain thorough documentation for programs, setups, and revisions.
- Continuously improve via new tooling strategies and emerging CNC/CAM advancements.
- Demonstrated success in CNC programming.
- Expertise in CAM (Mastercam required).
- Experience with Siemens controls and CamPlete Verification Software.
- Strong grasp of CNC lathe operations and machining fundamentals.
- Blueprint/technical drawing literacy; capable of designing efficient setups.
- Rigorous problem‑solving, detail orientation, and teamwork.
- Clear communicator who works well cross‑functionally.
- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced technical training is a plus.
