This role provides user support by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, network, security and related technologies. This role ensures smooth operation of existing IT systems and partners with the IT Manager to implement information technology and security initiatives that align with evolving company and customer requirements.

We are seeking someone with an Associate's degree or greater in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and 2 years of help desk or IT support experience.

We are currently seeking an IT Support Specialist, who has the same desire to prove that industry can do it! This role provides user support by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, network, security and related technologies. - Manages and prioritizes help desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up with users
- Supports the ordering, set-up, maintenance, repair, and decommissioning of computer, conference room and networking equipment
- Collaborates with end users to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer and network issues
- Installs and configures computers, peripherals and software applications
- Oversees the creation and implementation of user accounts, MFA tools, permissions and access controls
- Provides user training when necessary, communicating technical concepts in user-friendly language for non-technical users
- Escalates complex issues to the IT Manager as necessary
- Generates and revises SOPs for common and/or repetitive tasks

- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, operating systems (primarily Windows), Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals
- Experience with ticketing/issue tracking systems
- Fast learner with strong analytical/problem-solving and oral/written communication skills
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to provide superior customer service
- Familiarity with various engineering/CAD software such as Solidworks, CATIA, AutoCAD etc.
- CompTIA A , CompTIA Network or similar certificates
