We’re looking for a Lathe Operator who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in producing quality work, and wants to grow with a company that invests in its people.
What You’ll Do:
· Operate manual surface grinder, Bridgeport, and Lathe CNC machines
· Program, set up, and run machines to manufacture precision components.
· Create, review, and edit programs as needed to meet engineering specifications.
· Load materials, secure workpieces, and select appropriate tooling.
· Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality.
· Conduct detailed inspections of machined parts using various measuring tools.
· Verify machined parts and inspect tool geometry to confirm conformance to design specifications.
What You Bring to the Team:
· A high school diploma or equivalent
· Previous manual machining experience (mills, lathes or grinders)
· 1 years of CNC experience preferred (mills, lathes or grinders)
· Programming experience with G&M Code. CAD/CAM programming systems or SolidWorks is a plus
· Shop math skills (standard & metric)
· Ability to read blueprints and apply technical precision
· Experience using precision gauges and inspection equipment
