Responsible for the accurate receipt, handling, storage, and shipment of materials and equipment. This role supports inventory integrity, quality standards, and safe material handling while ensuring timely flow of goods throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive inbound materials, inspect shipments for accuracy, and properly safeguard items until stored or distributed.
- Prepare components, materials, and equipment for outbound shipment, including proper packaging and crating.
- Comply with and actively support the company's quality management system and related procedures.
- Verify delivered materials against purchase orders and record items into the Visual Manufacturing System.
- Identify and report any materials that do not meet specifications; coordinate with engineering or manufacturing for disposition and record issues in the Non-Conforming Material Report (NCMR) system.
- Store materials in designated locations and retrieve inventory as needed for production or shipping requirements.
- Assist with scheduled inventory reviews and storage condition assessments conducted for audit and inventory control purposes, at minimum on an annual basis.
- Review and interpret relevant drawings or blueprints to ensure proper identification and handling of items.
- Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines when managing hazardous or environmentally sensitive materials, including compliance with MSDS documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and functional work environment; ensure equipment and facilities are kept in safe working condition.
- Education or experience equivalent to an accredited apprenticeship program or a minimum of three years of technical or vocational training beyond high school.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
- Familiarity with weight measurement equipment and scales.
- Proficiency with computers and inventory management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
