Five9 Network Systems is looking for a computer assembly specialist who enjoys a friendly working environment at an energetic, growing company.
As a computer assembly specialist, you will be responsible for carefully and accurately assembling high end custom computers.
EXPECTED RESPONSIBILITIES
Using hand tools to assemble components together on a motherboard and in a chassis.
Cabling all components together following strict cable dressing procedures to produce exact patterns repeatedly.
Following extensive build procedures
Scanning in all components for a given project or build
Filling out detailed system travelers accurately to capture all steps of the operation
Reworking system assembly as needed
Keeping work area clean and safe
Producing completed systems by assembling components, subassemblies, and managing cables, unboxing, sorting, lifting, labeling, etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Speak, read, and write English fluently
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Experience in mechanical assembly and cable dressing of computer systems
Be able to stand, walk, and lift throughout an 8 hour day
Be accurate and quality conscious
Be able to perform critical tasks in a consistent and efficient manner
Have a continuous improvement mindset
Have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Able to work both independently and in a team environment and take instructions from supervisors
Be a good communicator
capable of training others to do tasks you are familiar with while
explaining processes and rationale
Follow a build schematic successfully
ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS
After assembly, configure systems and set them up for test and burn-in.
complete required documentation
Configure RAID controllers
Windows / Linux Software installation and configuration onto systems when required
Quality control inspection of finished systems
Assistance maintaining server & network hardware and software, as well as infrastructure including internal equipment, computational workstations & clusters
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
FULL TIME POSITION - Hourly, non-exempt. Working hours 8am-5pm EST,
Mon-Fri, unpaid 1 hour lunch (8 work hours)
EDUCATION - High School Diploma or Equivalent from an Institution
accredited by the US Dept of Education (GED)
Must provide proof as US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Must have reliable transportation
EXPECTED PAY - $22-25/hour based on experience
BENEFITS - Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K plan (after allowable
time)
EXPECTED START DATE - 2/1/2026
