- Collaborate with team members to support implementation of student IEPs
- Collect academic and functional data
- Support assigned students in general and/or special education settings, including the regular classroom, the self-contained classroom, and therapy classrooms
- Support students during lunch and during other nonacademic times
- Assist students with activities of daily living
- Understanding of behavioral interventions, trauma informed teaching, and special education practices.

About Camden Hills Regional High School

Position Summary
We are accepting applications for a full-time Special Education Educational Technician position at Camden Hills Regional High School to work with students (Grades 9-12) identified for special education for a variety of needs that may include cognitive, social or developmental disabilities. Preference will be given to candidates with training and experience in providing positive behavior interventions and supports for students in both special and regular education settings. This position may also work with individuals or small groups of special education students providing curriculum support, including the introduction of new learning pre-planned in consultation with the supervising teacher and with indirect teacher supervision. This position works 8:00am - 3:30pm, inclusive of a 30 minute unpaid lunch. This position is for 190 days per year.
