Five Star Septic is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Dispatcher to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling and dispatching service technicians, coordinating daily routes, communicating with customers, and ensuring our operations run efficiently. Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with scheduling service appointments.
- Schedule and dispatch technicians for residential and commercial service calls.
- Coordinate daily routes to maximize efficiency and minimize travel time.
- Maintain constant communication with drivers and field technicians throughout the day.
- Monitor schedules and adjust routes as emergencies or schedule changes arise.
- Enter customer information, work orders, and service notes accurately into company software.
- Provide customers with appointment confirmations, updates, and estimated arrival times.
- Assist with invoicing, customer follow-up, and administrative office duties.
- Work closely with management to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional and positive attitude.
- Maintain organized records and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
- Follow all company policies and procedures while helping create a productive team environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with dispatch or service management software (ServiceTitan experience is a plus but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
