4. Essential Functions (Primary Duties)
Note: Job duties may evolve based on project needs and company growth.
- Install and repair natural slate roofing systems with precision
- Fabricate and install copper flashing and architectural metal details
- Read and execute plans, layouts, and project specifications
- Work safely at heights (steep roofs, ladders, scaffolding)
- Handle and transport heavy materials (50 lbs) daily
- Cut, shape, and fit slate materials accurately
- Ensure waterproofing integrity at all roof transitions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
- Follow all safety protocols and company standards without exception
- Inspect work to ensure quality, durability, and long-term performance
